Assister Readiness Webinar Series

The 2020 Assister Readiness Webinar Series is a supplement to the 2020 web-based Assister Certification Training. This series will be delivered in weekly installments to help ensure that assisters are ready to serve Marketplace consumers during the 2020 open enrollment period. Each weekly installment includes several pre-recorded educational modules and a corresponding LIVE webinar that will recap the week’s topics and give assisters a chance to ask questions. Each week’s training modules in the Assister Readiness Webinar Series will be posted to this page.

Invitations to the live webinars and notifications when new material is posted will be sent to assisters via the assister listserv. If you would like to be added to the listserv, please email ASSISTERLISTSERV@cms.hhs.gov with “Add to listserv” as the subject.

The target audience for this webinar series are assisters operating in the Federally-facilitated Marketplace (FFM). However, assisters operating in State Based Marketplaces that use the Federal Platform (SBM-FPs) may also find the modules helpful. We welcome assisters in those states to participate in the Series as well.

For modules, the terms “FFM” and “individual market FFM” include FFMs where the state performs plan management functions as well as SBM-FPs.
